It's become a real problem. Some university lecturers tell podiatry students not to work for an employer who measures numbers and metrics and uses KPIs. Yet, the same lecturers give students exams at the end of each semester. Why do universities insist on giving students exams; it's because they are a measurement of performance...just like KPIs.
