When explaining a treatment plan to a patient, the only thing you can guarantee is the treatment pathway, not the result, because there are so many variables that are in the hands of the patients.
And if a patient decides not to follow your treatment pathway, you can also guarantee the pathway of not receiving any treatment but on your experience with past patients.
This is especially important for new and recent graduates to understand.
