182 - Gemma Hodgson The Foot Lab


Gemma Hodgson is the owner of The Foot Lab, a unique high-end looking podiatry business in Glossip, in the United Kingdom. As Gemma puts it, going cheap was never an option. 

Gemma is passionate about private practice and business ownership but also believes that we should be empowering other podiatrists to have the confidence to put their dreams and thoughts into action and be the best clinicians they can be.

From Zero to Hero

Gemma started with zero patients, and within 6-months, she was working full-time just by using Facebook. 

How is this possible? 

Gemma began marketing herself and telling her story, and sharing her journey as a student. 

Gemma has patients follow her clinic on social media, and then she constantly educates them, and she has done this from day one. 

Be Different

You should always look for good, educational content and don't try to be like everyone else. Being a little bit different will make you stand out.

Healthy competition means you're working together towards better patient outcomes, and if you embrace this, we can all learn from each other.
