Freedom of Choice is a song by DEVO, one of my favourite bands, and in this particular song the lyrics say:
Freedom of choice is what you got
Freedom FROM choice is what you want
This got me thinking about how we deliver treatment options to our patients. We think our patients want a lot of treatment options to choose from, when in fact it's probably the opposite because a confused mind says no.
Consider giving your patients fewer treatment options, or just one treatment option...the best one. This will make it much easier for you and the patient.
